Yeddy to Face 'Double' Trouble from Father-son Duo

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady

Beltangady, Jun 26: With arch-rivals chief minister Yeddyurappa and JD(S) state chief Kumaraswamy all set to land at Dharmasthala to offer their prayers on Monday June 27, the temple town is abuzz with activity.

Yeddyurappa will be under a double attack from the JD(S) - with both father and son charging at him from different corners on June 27. While Deve Gowda will stage a dharna outside the CM's residence, Kumaraswamy will take him on at Dharmathala, although not face to face.

Deve Gowda's protest will be against the non-release of funds for development works in his Lok Sabha constituency.

Both the CM and the former CM are expected to address the media in separate press conferences after their visits. Also, Yeddyurappa will be the first one to offer his prayers, and Kumaraswamy will follow an hour or so later. Which means, the two will not be facing each other.

The much-hyped truth test was cancelled by Yeddyurappa after he came under attack from BJP national president and following requests from many corners including religious leaders like Vishveshateertha Swamiji of Pejavar Mutt. Kumaraswamy, however, may still swear by God all that he has alleged against Yeddyurappa, especially the accusation that the former had tried to 'buy' peace over the issue of corruption.

Kumaraswamy, who will reach Dharmasthala after several halts, began his journey by offering puja at Chamundeswari temple in Ramanagar in Bangalore.

Addressing reporters at Ramnagar, he said he was on his 'dharma yatra' against the 'corrupt' state government.

He will be addressing press meets at various places before reaching Dharmasthala.

Meanwhile, Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade welcomed the chief minister’s decision to paying a religious visit to the shrine and cancelling the oath.

Heggade said both the politicians are welcome to pray for the development and progress of the people.

In spite of all drama between the two stalwarts there is every likely that both would like to patch up and form DOSTI govt in future occasions after penetrating each others territories.

Under prevailing circumstances,HDK inflicted and exposed Yeddy and BJP party a serious dent and it's double std.

Karnataka Govt @ standstill!Renukacaharya leading twenty BJP MLAs to Dharmastala and another 30 MLAs from other side.Every interval, under Yeddy's regime there is a constitutional crisis and admin standstill.Yeddy never learned lesson from past mistake nor BJP leadership rectified shortcomings in Yeddy's leadership!!People of Karnataka fed up with these DRAMAS for quite some time and need a break.

Deve Gowda's sit in strike in front of CM's premise is symbolic one and pressure him to yield to Hassan district development. However the incident also coincides with Dharmasatala program of both stalwart's puzzles every one of the intention of H.D.Devegowda.
