Beltangady’s Henry D’Souza dies as two motorcycles collide head-on, another seriously injured

Beltangady, Mar 30: One bike rider was killed and another seriously injured as two bikes collided head-on at Savanalu on Thursday March 30.

The collision occurred near Savanalu mosque. Henry D’Souza (62), a resident of Kurdalabettu, died on the spot. Rider of another bike Karunakar Hegde (60), resident of Karambaru, is seriously injured. He was admitted to private hospital at Guruvayanakere.

Deceased Henry D’Souza is survived by two sons and a daughter. His mortal remains were shifted to Beltangady government hospital mortuary.

Sub inspector of Beltangady traffic police station Santhosh and personnel visited the spot and the hospital. Rakshit Shivaram, Congress candidate also visited Beltangady government hospital and consoled the family members of deceased Henry.
