Kundapur, Jun 27: A calf delivered by a cow owned by Sesu Poojary, a resident of Koodige in Kodlady village, was born with six legs.  Although two of the legs are smaller in size, it has all features of feet. The calf is healthy and was recently delivered by the cow called Kariamma.

The veterinarian Dr Suryanarayan Upadyaya said that such a calf is born due to changes in the foetus caused by cyst growth and is not hereditary.

The cow has delivered three normal calves in the past and this is the fourth offspring.
Villagers have been thronging Sesu Poojary’s farm to see the strange calf.

Yes, truly its an incarnation of God in the BJP ruled state. A gift from God for banning cow slaughter in Karnataka. Cow is holy and is our Mother. We should start worshipping this calf and also build a small place of worship. Yeddy will surely visit for the blessings and donate a couple of crores for its progress and upkeep.

Very very strange! Was it meant to be a twin - I mean could be that the mother was expecting a twin and somehow the foetus/baby faded away!? Perhaps, Vet Surgeon Dr. Suryanarayan would be in a position to explain further.
