Mangaluru: Maharashtra police arrest UP man for defrauding students on pretext of medical seats

Mangaluru, Apr 3: Maharashtra police arrested Iftikar Ahmed (31), native of Uttar Pradesh, who cheated many innocents to the tune of lac of rupees on the pretext of providing medical seat in a private medical college in Deralakatte.

Iftikar escaped after case was filed against him by the victims.

Maharashtra police traced him at Nerol in Mumbai and handed him over to Ullal police.

Ullal police are investigating further.
