Mangaluru, Apr 4: Police arrested a youth for possessing a country-made pistol here on Monday, April 4.
The arrested youth is identified as Shishir. Kadri police arrested him from a rented house on George Martis Road here.
The police seized a pistol and a live bullet from him. The police had received a tip-off about the accused possessing the live bullet and pistol.
As per the complaint, the police raided the house and seized the weapon from the accused.
The pistol and bullet were reportedly old. For the past five months, Shishir was living in the rented house.
