Mangaluru: City police arrest two accused for stealing calf

Mangaluru, Apr 5: The Kavoor police have arrested two persons accused cattle thieves on Tuesday, April 5, from the city.

The accused had allegedly stolen a calf from Gandhinagar of Kavoor on February 11, 2023.

The arrested accused have been identified as Sahul Hammed (33), alias Timber Hammi, a resident of Ammemar in Bantwal taluk, and Mohammed Sadik, alias Sadik @ Neeli Sadik, a resident of Ammemar.

The police arrested the accused on Wednesday, April 4, and have seized a car worth Rs 1,50,000. The accused have previous cases registered against them at Puttur, Bantwal, and Belthangady police stations.

The Kavoor police acted under the guidance of Inspector Gururaj and sub-inspector Raghu Nayak.

    Three only thing that I can agree with real Kunjimon is that you people are indeed marginalized. And society or any party cannot be blamed. From the beginning itself you prefer to get enrolled in a madrassa rather than a quality education which opens up all the opportunities in life. "Real" employment/ opportunities will only be available to the latter and a "good" education elsewhere as you often do debates you initially itself all the way in life. Introspect the facts of successful life and think clearly why you were marginalized. Blaming anyone else is not the solution
