Top-level Theft: Burglars Break into PM Advisor's Residence

New Delhi, Jun 30: Harish Khare, media advisor to the Prime Minister reported burglary that took place at his house on Alipur Road late on Tuesday June 28. The unidentified burglars drove away with a Ford Fiesta car parked outside the house after taking with them a laptop and a mobile phone.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) said that the burglars gained entry into the house making use of a rear wall. As the family was sleeping at the time of the incident the burglary came to light early on Wednesday June 29 after noticing that laptop, a mobile phone and car keys that were kept in one of the rooms were missing.

Police suspect that Khare's laptop could have been stolen for sensitive information stored. Five teams have been formed to trace the accused. The police said that CCTV cameras installed at a near by bank are being scanned for details.
