Kerala: Watch Chandy's Chamber Live on keralacm.gov.in

Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 1: Kerala's new government headed by Oomen Chandy is all set to fulfil its 100-day programme as promised in the election manifesto.

Going high-tech, the chief minister on Friday July 1 inaugurated a live webcast facility from his office chamber at the state secretariat.

Now people with internet access can watch live activities at the chamber on www.keralacm.gov.in. One can watch live meetings, press conferences and cabinet briefings by logging on to the webiste.

Speaking to reporters he said that his government will fulfil his election promises one by one. Live webcast from his chamber is also one of them.

The CM also inaugurated a toll-free number that would be operational round the clock. Apart from registering complaints on the toll-free number, people can lodge them through the website also.

    HUNDREDS of primary teachers now working as normal-teacher under the controll of their junior H.M, because they are inter-district transferee. So please count the seniority like L.D.C PROMOTED to UDC. LDC AND P.D.TEACHER, BOTH ARE district wise recruitment posts. But LDC Promoted to UDC , UDC get statewise seniority and their service count for next promotion. In the same way ONE PD. TEACHER Get promotion or transfer to other district, his all seniority will loss and their service period not count for the district promotion also.So very juniors are in H.Ms. Many petitions are giving the department and paycommissions.we are helpless. so please give your attention will the same.     Dear CM,
    Kudos to your sincere efforts in giving a clean administration to our dear State. I know it is a very difficult task for you to fulfill all the promises within a short span of time. It requires a lot of patience, hard work and cooperation from all concerned. We have our hopes in you and I am sure that you will not disappoint us.
    One of the main issues that we face in our town Ranny is the frequent problem of electricity. If there is a slight rain or a breeze, electricity goes off. The telephones in our area (karikulam) has been out of order for more than two months. Though we have complained about it, so far no one has done anything about it. People nowadays don't mind about it as we all have mobile phones. But we can't use the internet. The main road in Ranny (Ittyapara) has been in a very bad condition for long as in many parts of our State. Kindly look into these basic essentials of our people and do the needful. I wish you Sir, all the best and May God Almighty help you in doing a great job for the development of our state.

    I think Editor must be surprised to see so many comments from Malayalis.When question of politics comes,Malayalis stand first. Politics in other states are seasonal,but in Kerala it is daily routine practice.Common man,from coolie to Managers (irrespective of caste,religion) take lot of interest in reading or listening to political news.Even Padmanabha Swamy temple's GOLD NEWS was not taken seriously by Malaylis and no comments in Daiji.But see Chandy's Chamber News..it attracted nearly 300 comments !!Because it is a KERALA POLITICS.

    Good start, but need to keep up. Kindly note the following:
    1. Keep curruption at bay.
    2. Try to do best for common man. 3. No partisan attitude and doings.That will spoil the image. 4. Keep allies political at bay. Don't fall on the pressure tactice.
    5. Minority takes all advantage. So normally majority are ignored. Try to do better for majority and get backing.
    6. A firm decision is needed in all cases with out partiality.
    7. A uniform general solution is expected on Medical/Engineering admissions. This should be solved once for all devicing a system common to all and should be legally without flaws, so not be challenged in the court.
    of law.
    8. Try to get maximum support from the Union Government
    9. Also try to get support of NRIs to bring maximum employable jobs in Kerala.
    10. Try to keep more transparency on Recruitments & appointments.
    11. Keep Police out of Politics and make the force a true supportive to the common man.
    12. Keep the Police Criminals (including top officers) out of the Force.
    13. Make Police Station and its officers friendly to common man.
    14. Try allot more new projects and Industries to Malabar Area which is still neglected by all past governments.
    15. Make it realize Smat City & Cochin Metro in the possible short time
    16. Explore the possibility of making Express Highway in practice.
    17. Keep in mind that the dream of today's youngsters are on you try to understand the problem of common man and act. Wish all the best.

    Congratulations, on showing the courage to go public! We are waiting for so many novel initiatives from your office, for good governance of the State. Keep going, we are with you!
    The next big initiative you can take up is- the preparation of "Development Plans" in the state, in accordance with the 73rd and 74th Constitution Amendment.The said Plans will enable the State to reach the development to the lowest strata of the society, living in the remote areas of Grama Panchayaths. The Five Year Plans could be streamlined with such Plans and the result would be absolute utilization of money by each wards in Muncipalities and Panchayats. In fact, the State is duty bound to prepare such Development Plans as per the judgment of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala in Sivaprasad V. State of Kerala, reported in 2011(1)KLT690. The Planning Commission may seriously take note of this judgment.
    If such Development Plans are made in all the Districts, KERALA WOULD BE THE FIRST STATE HAVING A COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN, NOT ONLY IN THE COUNTRY,BUT ALSO IN THE WHOLE ASIAN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES!
    As I am the Lawyer who argued the above said case in the High Court, I would be able to contribute a lot of ideas towards preparation of such Plans and I am happy to do so for a Govt. manned by you, sir!

    Its an innovative method to be transparent, let the people see the transparency in the public administration style and in the welfare of the people. Let there be more genuine development and maintenance of the existing roads as Kerala roads are comparatively the worst even though Kerala is not the only place to get monsoon.
