Mangaluru: Killer pothole emerges on Bikarnakatte road, authorities’ attention urged

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Apr 10: In the past couple of years, several lives been lost due to potholes. A ‘killer’ pothole has once again emerged at Bikarnakatte opposite SCS Pre-School posing danger to motorists.

The existing pothole is right on the opposite road where 20-year-old Aathish met with an accident and lost his life. Three weeks before Aathish met with the accident, Daijiworld had highlighted the pothole and brought it to the notice of the concerned officials. The officials failed to fill the pothole and Aathish the same pothole claimed Aathish’s life.

Now a pothole has emerged opposite SCS Pre-School in Bikarnakatte which is filled with water. Officials need to take immediate action and fill the pothole immediately before someone else loses life due to the pothole.

Officials should not be negligent about potholes due to the model code of conduct. The officials need to address the issue at the earliest to avoid accidents due to potholes.

Potholes filled with water are not good for the concerned officials, people should pee in these potholes and dump concerned officials.
