Disguised Maoists Kill Six Tribals Near Patna

Munger (Patna), Jul 2: Five tribals were killed by the Maoists at Kareili village early morning on Saturday July 2. One person was injured.

Deputy commissioner Neelmani said that the rebel group disguised as CPRF jawans came in two vehicles and shot dead the tribals belonging to Korha group. He also informed the government had launched a combing operation to hunt down the Maoists.

The injured person was admitted to a government hospital here. Sources said that he succumbed to injuries later.

Forces led by superintendent of Police P Kanan reached the spot and heavy combing operation is on to hunt down the insurgents.
