Dubai: Nama Tuluver Gears up for 4th Anniversary with 'Porlu Daaye?' Muhurat

Dubai, Jul 3: The muhurat of Dinesh Attavar's Tulu drama 'Porlu Daaye?', to be presented by Nama Tuluver UAE to mark their fourth anniversary, was held at Pravin Shetty’s Fortune Plaza, Al Ghusais on Friday July 1 at 2.30 pm.
Purohit Raghu Bhat conducted the puja. He prayed and blessed the organization and the artistes.
Nama Tuluver UAE is a charity-based association which also promotes Tulu culture with a cause. The association is all geared up to celebrate its fourth anniversary on October 7 this year at Dubai Gems High School Auditorium.
As part of the anniversary celebrations in the past Nama Tuluver UAE has staged various famous comedy Tulu dramas by some of the famous groups of Mangalore. The income generated by the programmes were distributed among the needy back home as well as in the UAE. The association's programmes and deeds have been applauded and supported by many organizations in the UAE that have always stood by them shouldering the good cause.
This year, Nama Tuluver UAE will be staging the famous Tulu comedy and social drama titled 'Porlu Daye?’ written by well-known writer and actor Dinesh Attavar who will also be part of the celebrations.
The drama will be staged by local talents and members of the association with the guidance of famous actor director Vishwanath Shetty, who is also part of Nama Tuluver UAE.
The local artistes have earlier staged several successful shows in the name of ‘Sangama Kalavidaru’ which were appreciated by the Tuluvas of UAE. Inspired by their talents, Nama Tuluver UAE has come forward to support them to stage this drama as part of their 4th anniversary celebrations.
Shodhan Prasad welcomed the gathering and briefed about the programme.
Rajesh Kuthar thanked Nama Tuluveru on behalf of Vishwanath Shetty. Purushottam Salian, Vasu Shetty, Satish Venkataramana, and Raghu Bhat shared the dais.
