Kadaba, Apr 15: Thousands of litres of milk got wasted as a milk tanker supplying milk to KMF overturned at Murachedavu of Kunthoor village on Uppinangady-Subramanya state highway on Friday April 14 evening.
The tanker fell into the roadside drain at the bend at Murachedavu after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Driver escaped with minor injuries. The tanker was going towards KMF Mangaluru after collecting milk from Udane, Kallugudde and Kadaba.
Nearly, 12000 litres of milk got washed down into the drain. The tanker was lifted with the help of a crane in the evening. Kadaba police visited the spot and are investigating further.
