Kundapur: Mortal remains of student who drowned in Kelakeri rivulet found

Kundapur, Apr 16: The mortal remains of a student who drowned in the Kelakeri rivulet on Friday evening were found on the morning of Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Tilak K G (19), a first-year engineering student at Moodlakatte College, who drowned while swimming in Kelakeri rivulet in Koni village.

Tilak was a resident of Konandoor in Thirthahalli taluk and the son of Jagadish.

As the college was closed on account of Ambedkar Jayanti, Tilak had gone to swim in the rivulet with his friends.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident at Kundapur police station.
