Mangaluru, Apr 28: Mandd Sobhann's annual children's camp 'Favaro' (meaning fountain) was inaugurated on Friday, April 28 at Kalangann. Pradhan Mantri Bal Puraskar awardee Remona Evette Pereira inaugurated the camp, and Mandd Sobhann committee members Stany Alvares, Kishore Fernandes, Alron Rodrigues, Naveen Lobo, Sunil Monteiro, and Raina Castelino were also present for the ceremony.
The trainers for the camp were introduced, with Eric Ozario serving as the director and Louis Pinto as the supervisor. The singing category trainers are Raina Castelino, Dealle Dsouza, Prithuma Monteiro, Jasmine Lobo, and Preethi Lopes.
For dance, the trainers are Rahul Pinto and Delitia Pereira; for drama, Vikas Lasrado and Savitha Saldanha; for anchoring, Arun Raj Rodrigues; for Konkani lessons, Rev. Jason Pinto and Rony Crasta. Irene Rebello introduced the resource persons, while Anita conducted yoga classes, Vitori Karkal led end-of-the-day sessions, and Saritha Dsouza, Sunil Siddi, and Alban D'silva provided extra help.
A total of 77 participants from DK, Udupi, Bengaluru, Chikkamagalur, Uttara Kannada, and Kasargod are attending the camp. These children will perform the 257th monthly theatre on May 7.
