Mangaluru, May 6: The BJP released manifesto with 30 points for Mangaluru north block on May 6. The manifesto released by Dr Bharath Shetty consists of constructing Hindu Bhavan and providing auditorium for the weddings of poor people at low cost, cold storage for fishermen, construction of IT hub, AYUSH forest, shelter for nomad cattle, water sport and food stalls at sea shore. The manifesto also speaks about stress on religious and cultural tourism, priority for development and nationalism and others.
He released the manifesto for Mangaluru North at the party office at the Kavoor society auditorium.
He said, “The manifesto also includes up gradation of educational institutes, training centres for students undergoing management, IIT and IIM studies, market for agriculture produce similar to CAMPCO in villages, simplification of government facilities at government offices, formation of Yuvashakti groups similar to Stree Shakti, community health centres, up gradation of more primary health centres, rest camps at Mangaluru North for pilgrims going for Shabarimale and others.
“Most of the roads in the constituency are concretized and repaired. Student hostels are developed and new rooms are constructed for schools. The development will be conducted swiftly during the next term,” he said.
BJP mandal president Thilakraj Krishnapur, Sharathchandra Shetty, Sandeep Pachanady, Rajesh Kothary, Krishna Shetty Kadaba and BJP leaders were present.
