London, July 10 (IANS) A 40-year-old man in Britain has found a rare 1916 footage of Charlie Chaplin that also shows a bombing scene over London.
Brian Hann spent just a few pounds on a small box, but found inside a 35 mm film, the Daily Express reported.
The seven-minute footage is part of a World War I film called "Zepped" that stars Chaplin and shows scenes of a Zeppelin bombing over London.
Believed to be the only copy, the footage has been put up for sale at Bonhams auction house in London, with 100,000 pounds as asking price.
"There's Chaplin reading a newspaper while leaning against a tree and there's a wartime message about saving food," Hann said about the film.
