Qazi Twaka Ahmed Musliar Inaugurates Muslim Central Committee's New Auditorium

Mangalore, Jul 14: The newly-built auditorium and residential complex constructed by the Muslim Central Committee of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts at Bunder here, was inaugurated on Thursday July 14.

Dakshina Kannada district Qazi Al Haj Twaka Ahmed Musliar inaugurated the complex here on Thursday morning.

In his inaugural address, Musliar said that the committee had responded effectively to various issues of the Muslim community in maintaining peace and harmony. He also urged that it be strengthened in the coming days.

Muslim Central Committee president and former MLC Haji K S Mohammed Masood presided over the programme.

MLA U T Khader, Ullal Darga Committee president Haji Kanachoor Monu, Zeenat Baksh treasurer Haji S M Rashid, Haji Basha Kundapura, Haji Imtiyaj Ahmed Karkala, Haji Moosa Moidin, Haji Moideen Bawa, and Haji Hameed Kandak were present on the dais.

Committee members Haji G Abdul Khader Goltamajalu, engineers Shahnawaz and Abdul Khader were felicitated on the occasion.

Committee chief secretary Haji Mohammed Hanif welcomed the gathering. Haji Mumtaz Ali proposed the vote of thanks. Vice-president Haji Ibrahim Kodijal compered the programme.
