Mangaluru, Jun 4: Three people miraculously escaped unhurt in a road accident reported in Tadambail at Surathkal in the wee hours of Sunday June 4.
The car which rammed into a building, was plying from Udupi had three occupants including a woman. Two people who were sleeping outside the building miraculously escaped without any injuries.
The building belonging to Venkataramana Rao was damaged in the accident. A loss of Rs two lac is reported as the shutter door of the building and roof top were damaged.
The car got completely damaged in the accident. The presence of airbags in the car averted a major causality.
Their friends who were in another car rushed all the three injured to hospital.
Founder president of Apathbhandava Institute Umesh Devadiga said, "This accident has taken place due to the presence of an unscientific curve on the national highway at Tadambail. People are losing their limbs due to accidents here.”
