Mangalore: Three Men Arrested for Trespassing into Ladies Hostel

Mangalore, Jul 18: Three men from Anegundi, Bejai have been arrested by Pandeshwar police for trespassing into a ladies hostel near Falnir and abusing the lady warden on Sunday, July 17.

The arrested have been identified as Wilson Mendonca, Ajay Christopher and Mario Rodrigues, who in a reportedly drunk state, entered the House Promotion nursing hostel and shouted that the door be opened. But when nobody responded the trio is said to have broken the glass and abused the hostel warden in vulgar language. The trio reportdely abused the neighbhour Kiran also who rushed to the spot hearing the noise.

The police arrested the trio later on Sunday, according to a complaint filed by Chaitra, the warden.

But Daijiworld has learnt that the trio was released on bail later in the evening.

The exact motive behind their action is not known. The trio had come to the hostel by bike and ran away leaving their bike there.

Police sources told Daijiworld that the three were arrested on the basis of identification of the bike.

    Looks like Maria is referring just this story and "someone will drink & drive and abuse you" it's different story, should deal with it differently. Here the boys were really scared when they realise they enter girls hostel and ran for life leaving behind their motor cycle. Looks like they did not had any abusing or raping intention, but they were certainly drunk.

    @Santosh before passing any filthy comments please study the situation and then comments.You are free to express your feelings.But this is not the way of expressing your opinions and rather ridiculing BJP Govt for this stray incident.I am not belonging to any party whether it is BJP,Congress,JDS or any other party.Here in this case justice is prevailed,don't throw any unhealthy comments just gain mileage.

    Think properly twice and analyze it thoroughly before pen down any comments.Whichever the government whether it is BJP,Congress.JDS or any other party can not address all these petty,stray issues.There is a police department,concerned authorities and hostel management.They will take care of.Even being a citizen of the country you too can contribute in your own way by finding some solutions for this kind of occurrences.It is always easier said than done.when it comes to your feet you will raise y our hands.Why? Please hence forth try to comment positively/constructively so that it can be digested by all sections of people.

    They should be punished as per the law.. Dear friends why you all guys pull religion when it comes to this kind of issues. There are good and bad people in each religion.
