Kasargod: Scooter-borne helmet-wearing robbers snatch gold chain from 3 women

Kasargod, Jun 11: Robbers who wore helmets and arrived on a scooter snatched golden chains from the necks of three women in separate incidents.

The robbers first snatched the golden chain from the neck of Padmavati, who runs a grocery store at Panayal Podipalla. This act was caught on CCTV camera of a nearby shop. It has come to be known through police investigation that the registration number displayed on the scooter was fake.

The robbers snatched the chain from another woman who was walking on Nelliadka Road in the vicinity of Bara Mullaccheri Ayurveda Hospital. Melparamba police have registered a case.

In the third incident, the scooter-borne robbers snatched a chain from the neck of a woman under the limits of Vidyanagar.

Police suspect that the same person or persons were involved in all the three incidents.
