Their supervisor should be taken to task for manslaughter and the company sued; this cannot be counted as a mistake! Where is the safety equipment? I have personally seen how they do the maintenance work; worst power utility company!! This has been happening at regular intervals; please do your own research!!

How can someone even go near a high power electric transformer without completing cutting off the power supply? Secondly, in Karnataka, never seen a lineman wearing safety wear to protect from accidental shocks! One of the worst power supply/utility company; if they can't protect their own personnel, just think about the fate of the common man; no doubt every other day there is atleast one news of some animal or human dying from electric shock!!

It's sad that most of these people work without proper harness and safety gear. I like to see where all the payments I make towards my electricity bill goes to. A full and comprehensive audit is required if the system is being abused and funds are filtered to someone's pockets.

Hope they will survive after the shock fast.As a staff they should have know how dangerous it is under transformer to come and should have taken steps first to put off or take care.May be they had the mobile too in pocket ,that made more easier to elektric shock-Wish them good fast recovery.
