Mangaluru, Jun 12: Police conducted raids on houses of 83 rowdy sheeters under the limits of Dakshina Kannada district police on Sunday morning.
Police searched for weapons inside their houses and a warning was given not to get involved in any rowdyism activities. No weapons were found during the raids.
Police officials said that they have been conducting similar raids often to monitor the activities of anti-socials.
Raids were held under Mangaluru police commissionerate limits and 148 rowdy sheeters were subjected to thorough check up according to the information provided by city police commissioner.
