Mangaluru: Two Srinivas College of Pharmacy professors awarded PhD, gold medal respectively

Mangaluru, Jun 13: Shripathy D, associate professor, department of Pharmaceutics of Srinivas College of Pharmacy was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru for his thesis entitled 'Formulation Design and Optimization of Nanosponzes containing sulfonylurea and Thiazolidinedione class for the management of diabetes'.

He worked under the guidance of Dr A R Shabaraya, principal & director, of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangaluru.

Prathiksha of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Mangaluru, MPharm, department of pharmacology secured a gold medal from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. During the 25th convocation, the Governor of Karnataka, Thawar Chand Gehlot felicitated Prathiksha with a gold medal. She secured 1st rank in the department of pharmacology. Dr A R Shabaraya, principal & director of the college, management and staff congratulated on her achievement.
