Mangaluru: Mortal remains of man reported missing found near Kinnigoli

Mangaluru, Jun 13: The dead body of a man who was reported missing has been discovered at Hosakaveri, Kinnigoli.

The deceased has been identified as Chandrakanth (40), a resident of Hosakaveri.

Chandrakanth had been missing since Monday morning and his body was found in the water of an old black stone quarry on Tuesday afternoon. It is believed that he fell into the water and met his demise.

Tragically, Chandrakanth had been under mental distress since the passing of his brother-in-law in February earlier this year.

The police have registered a case in connection with the incident and are currently conducting an investigation.
