Hubballi woman makes use of free bus travel to elope with paramour in Puttur

Daijiworld Media Network – Puttur (MS)

Puttur, Jun 15: Shakti scheme of the state government, which offers free bus travel to women throughout Karnataka has begun on June 11. Women are thronging tourist places and holy temples taking advantage of the offer. In the midst of this, a young married woman from Hubballi left her 11-month-old baby and escaped to Puttur to meet her paramour. Though she did not have any money, the free bus travel helped her to meet her lover.

Both were in love before the young woman got married to some other man. The affair continued even after marriage. Her paramour used to work in a farm near Kodimbadi. Family members of the husband of the young woman searched for her in the night in Puttur.

The young woman escaped from home on the pretext of linking her Aadhar card. In fact she brought the Aadhar card to show to the conductor to travel freely from Hubballi to Puttur. The family members are in search of the woman as well as her paramour.

Gram panchayat member Jayaprakash Badinar is helping the family members to trace the missing woman. It is known through tower location that the pair escaped to Siddakatte from Puttur. A missing complaint is filed on both the woman and her paramour.

With a little help from the new KT government so much liberty is unleashed; what will happen wwhen all the other four freebees are released. It will be the full liberation of women of the lower and middle lower class - I mean those who se relations with their legally married husbands are becoming "stale". Husbands are to blame for treating wives in that manner which makes them bolt away when the opportunity knocks at the door. Government is encouraging them with this baghya.

Sanctity of the institution of "marriage", across the board, has gone for a toss; it's evident from women deserting their new born and young babies in search of pleasure!!

misusing the freedom cannot be termed as women empowerment. Instead empower yourself with ethics, morals, principles and education can be called as real women empowerment. men should not stoop to such low level to lure another man's wife leaving behind a 11 month baby at the same time women should not run after another man leaving behind married husband and children and continue in live in relationship which will create more sufferings in future and majority will end up in murders, abandonment etc.

Where is the question of misuse here? In that way, even going out touring places for fun too is a misuse?

Even if a man does that, what is your problem ? It is done by wives consent and all parties are happy and legally married, unlike getting married and enjoying with lovers which is sanskari according to you..
