Mangaluru: State govt announces Rs 25 lac each compensation for victims of communal violence

Mangaluru, Jun 17: The state government on Friday June 16 ordered to pay Rs 25 lac each from the chief minister’s relief fund for the families of four people who were killed by communal elements in the district of Dakshina Kannada.

Masood of Bellare was killed on July 19, 2022, Mohammed Fazil of Mangalapete was murdered on July 28, 2022, Addul Jaleel of Katipalla on December 24, 2022 and Deepak Rao of Katipalla on January 3, 2018.

This compensation was released by internal administration based on the request made by DGP on behalf of the state government.

The families of the victims have been instructed to collect the compensation cheques on June 19.

    Good decision taken by the govt. to the family who lost there loved once's. Compensation should be divided equally not like the precious Party Did! Govt. should punish the culprit who are involved in murdering them! Should punish them in that way no one will dare/think of harming someone!

    Jai Sidda...this is called really secular...unlike the nagpur gulams..bomma did not even visit the families of masood, fazil....such hate against minorities...and here Sidda has given to Deepak's family also though they already got from other sources...it is fine we dont hate..we want everyone....this is real hindutva and not the fake one preached by the duo in delhi

    This not hindutva real or fake but infact Hinduism.... Hindutva is not actual Hinduism... Hindutva is of Nagpur fellows of Upper caste to upper caste based on their Manusmriti but not based on Vedas and Upanishads.
