Mangaluru: C B Rishyanth appointed SP of Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, Jun 20: C B Rishyanth was appointed as the superintendent of police (SP) of Dakshina Kannada (DK). Earlier, he was appointed as in-charge SP here replacing Dr Vikram Amate who was on medical leave.

Now Rishyanth has been appointed as the SP of DK along with 15 other IPS officers who have been transfer across the state.

A 2013 IPS batch officer, Rishyanth has earlier served as SP of Davanagere. He was serving in Bengaluru prior to the elections.

He has also served as ASP in Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru and Bagalkote.
