Moodbidri, Jun 21: A gang of seven members assaulted a two people near Mangalore Restaurant near Laadi here on Wednesday June 21.
Moodbidri residents Aboobacker (57) and Ajmal (23) were the victims of the assault.
It is gathered a gang consisting Sinan, Siraj, Hasainar and Naushad assaulted the victims after arguments over parking of bike.
Ajmal was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment.
It is said that Moodbidri station police who were reluctant initially to register a complaint, registered a case after pressure from the police commissioner.
