Bangaluru, Jun 21: The Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations (FKCA) is celebrating its silver jubilee, marking 25 years of dedicated service and community development.
The momentous event will take place on Sunday, June 25 starting from 3:30 pm at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Vyalikaval, Kodandarampura, Malleswaram here. Three luminaries - Michael D'Souza, Dr Kiran Kamal Prasad and Stephen Quadros will be conferred with awards for their exemplary contributions in their respective domains.
Esteemed guests and dignitaries from various fields will grace the occasion. The event's chief guest will be deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar and the guests of honour include Speaker U T Khader, energy minister K J George, and Dr Ronald Colaco, philanthropist and renowned NRI entrepreneur.
The event will be presided over by Dr Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bengaluru, accompanied by Fr Henry D'Souza, Bishop of Ballari, and other esteemed bishops and dignitaries.
The celebration will commence with a vibrant cultural extravaganza presented by member associations. The formal program is scheduled to begin at 5 pm. The federation has invited everyone to witness and participate in its silver jubilee celebrations.

Entrepreneur of the Year Award:
Michael D'Souza, renowned philanthropist and NRI entrepreneur who has made remarkable strides in business and community service.
Lifetime Achievement Award:
Dr Kiran Kamal Prasad, renowned Human Rights activist who has worked tirelessly for the welfare of bonded and child labour.
Professional Excellence Award:
Stephen Quadros, renowned writer known for his exceptional literary contributions.
