Udupi: Accused evading capture for 31 years, finally arrested by police

Udupi, Jun 21: The Shankernarayana station police have apprehended Honna, also known as Honnappa (55), who had been accused of theft in Shankernarayana in 1993.

He had been on the run, evading court appearances ever since.

On June 20, Honna was arrested in the afternoon at Lakshmeshwara, Gadag district.

He was subsequently produced in court on June 21.

Multiple cases had been filed against him at the Bunder police station in Mangaluru, Kundapur police station, and Karkala town police station.
