Doha: Tulukoota Qatar organises a Joy of Health event

Doha, Jun 21: Tulukoota Qatar had organised a 'Joy of Health' event on June 16 at Ashoka Hall – ICC which was a huge success! The event was wholesome with the elements of blood donation/Health check-up/registration of ICBF health insurance and awareness on choosing to be healthy with millets.

Tulukoota had an excess of 250 registrations and 156 members successfully donating blood and around 100 ICBF insurance registration which will be supported by Tulukoota Qatar through the special needs wing.

HMC Blood Donor centre, Apex body ICC, ICBF, volunteers, members and more importantly donors were the catalyst in making the event a huge success.ICBF president Shanavas Bawa, ICC VP Subramanya Hebbagilu, Tulunadu cine star Roopesh Shetty addressed the gathering and appreciated the endeavour and the resulting turnout of the people. President Kiran Anand addressed the gathering and expressed his gratitude to the donors, present members and the volunteers.

Tulukoota Qatar patron Dr M Ravi Shetty, chairperson Chaitali Uday Shetty, advisor and past president Ramchandra Shetty were present on the stage during the event. Patron Ravi shetty lauded the efforts of the team and the significance of all the elements of the noble event.

Vice president Chaitali S Shetty spoke on the significance of choosing millets in today’s lifestyle for health and for the better environment preservation.

The event was compered by general secretary Sagar Kotian.

Tulukoota presented millets in glass bottles as gifts to the guests and the presidents of Karnataka based organizations.
