Mangaluru, Jun 22: The theme for International Day Of Yoga 2023 is ‘Yoga for ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam’ or ‘Yoga for the welfare of all as one World- one Family'.

The day celebrates the ancient spiritual practice of yoga rooted in Indian philosophy which has paved a way to promote physical and mental well-being.

To create awareness among the faculty and the student body about the significance of incorporating yoga in daily lives, a programme was conducted by the students of grade IX A at Carmel School. After the stage programme and celebration, under the able guidance of qualified yoga instructors, the students of grades 9 and 10 participated in two crucial sessions where they focussed on Pranayama and various asanas to improve flexibility, strength, concentration and relaxation.
