The accused were brought to the crime scene by the Bengaluru police on Friday.

Among the two arrested, Fayaz was apprehended in Sakleshpur, while Prasanna was captured in Govind Nagar, Bengaluru.

According to police sources, the accused have been involved in over 30 robbery cases across various locations.

During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused did not originally plan to steal anything from Shamsuddin's house. They were on their way to meet an accomplice in Kasargod when they noticed a newspaper left at the gate of the house. Believing that nobody was home, they entered the premises.

The duo's accomplice in Kasargod was facing financial difficulties in paying his lawyer's fees. The accused assured him of assistance and proceeded to loot Shamsuddin's house.
