Aravind Bolar attends grand premiere of Tulu movie ‘Circus’ in Qatar, felicitated

Doha, Jun 26: ‘Tulunadu Manikya’ Aravind Bolar arrived to Qatar for the grand premiere of his newly released Tulu movie ‘Circus’ on June 23. Circus is a family entertainer movie and has received an overwhelming response from Tulu movie fans in Qatar and all over. Two premiere shows were held on June 16 which went houseful along. The movie’s director-cum-lead actor Roopesh Shetty was present for the shows.

ATS Group MD Dr Ravi Shetty, Roshan Shetty, Udupi Restaurant partner Musthafa G, MCA president Aloysius D’Souza, Jerald D’Souza, and Konkani-Kannada movie director Melwin Elpel welcomed Bolar at the airport. 

 

 

 

 

Bolar was felicitated by various Karnataka based organizations in Qatar on June 22 at Layan Garden. The well-known actor began his career in Yakshagana, and has acted in more than 100 plays and 50 plus films which include Tulu, Kannada and Konkani. Recognizing his high profile work in Kannada and Tulu movies, Karnataka based organizations Tulukoota Qatar, KSQ, MCA, MCC, Bunts Qatar, Billawas Qatar, ATS Group and JD Productions join together to felicitate him. KSQ president Mahesh Gowda presented the shawl, while Tulukoota Qatar president Kiran Anand presented the garland, ATS Group MD Dr Ravi Shetty presented the memento to Bolar. MCA president Aloysius D’Souza, MCA vice president Sandeep Noronha, Billawas Qatar president Raghunath Anchan, MCC president Naveen D’Souza, and Bunts Qatar vice president Dineshchandra Shetty were present. Addressing the gathering, Bolar showed his gratitude towards ATS Group, Udupi Restaurant, JD Productions and Kusalda Javaner for making his maiden arrival to Qatar warm. He expressed his gratitude towards his fans and shared a few funny moments with the gathering.

The grand premiere show of Circus was organised by by ATS Group, JD Productions and Kusalda Javaner team at Asian Town Cinema. There was an overwhelming response from Qatar Tulu movie fans and the theatre was houseful. During the interval break, chief guest Aravind Bolar was escorted to the dais by organizers Jerald D’Souza, Anish D’Souza and Tharanth Poojary along with guest of honor Dr Ravi Shetty, social activist Abdulla Monu, Daijiworld director Alexis Castelino and movie director Melwin Elpel. Meanwhile, Dr Ravi Shetty recalled Aravind Bolar’s multitalented acts which were telecast in Daijiworld TV during the Covid time and also his 130 various characters on the very famous Private Challenge television show, which entertained every Tulunadu house. Bolar addressed the gathering and expressed his gratitude. One of the young fans, Rowina Lobo presented the chief guest, a handwritten drawing of Aravind Bolar himself. The short stage programme was compered by Clement Fernandez and Jerald D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. After the movie show, all Tulu movie fans got a chance to click photo along with Bolar. Adequate arrangements were done by the organizers to control the crowd at the theatre.

Tulunadu flavor Udupi Restaurant in Matar Qadeem also showed its presence in felicitation to the ace actor at its venue. Udupi Restaurant proprietors Faisal G, Musthafa G and Mohammed Junaid joined hands to felicitate Bolar with shawl, mementos and gifts.

Meanwhile, Bolar was felicitated by the Indian Cultural Centre at Ashoka Hall on June 23 evening. On the same evening, another felicitation event took place under the aegis of ATS Group and Kusalda Javaner. ATS Group MD Dr Ravi Shetty, Daijiworld TV director Alexis Castelino, Konkani movie director Melwin Elpel, Tharanath Poojary and Jerald D’Souza presented a shawl along with a memento to Bolar in presence of Kusald Javaner team members and other guests.
