Kundapur: Man fishing in Kalavara Temple lake meets watery grave

Kundapur, Jun 26: A man who had gone to catch fish in the Kalavara's Shri Subramanya Temple lake met his watery grave on Sunday, June 25, in the evening.

The deceased has been identified as Harish Poojary of Narikodlu in Kalavara.

As it was raining heavily on Sunday, Harish Poojary presumed that it was safe to fish in the the Kalavara temple lake. However, he got drowned.

The mortal remains of Harish was not found even after a thorough search was conducted all night.

Later on Monday morning, Eshwara Malpe's team arrived and fished out Harish's dead body.
