Udupi: ‘Daiji Anthyakshari’ competition announced for high school students, registrations open

Udupi, Jun 28: Daijiworld Udupi Studio is coming up with a new programme ‘Daiji Anthyakshari’, an anthyakshari competition exclusively for high school students, for the very first time in coastal television history.

The show will give the participants a new platform to display their talents and help them acquire knowledge about the rich Hindi and Kannada music industry. The entire series will be telecast on Daijiworld 24x7 channel as episodes. High school students are eligible to participate.

The competition will consist various levels and will also cover a vast arenas of singing.

Ace anchor Suchith Kotian will host the show. All episodes will be recorded in Daijiworld Udupi Studio located at Kadiyali, Udupi.

The last date for registration is July 10, 2023.

Rules of the competition:

1) High school students are eligible to participate in the competition
2) Each team should consist two people
3) Teams will be named after their respective school name
4) Participants must have basic knowledge of scale, tempo, rhythm and musical instruments
5) The competition will be held in Kannada language, Kannada and Hindi songs can be sung
6) On the basis of points, the teams will be selected for the next level
7) Changing of the team members is not allowed without valid reasons
8) Background music will be provided for the semi-final and final rounds
9) Competitions will be held in various rounds. It will be telecasted on Daijiworld 24x7 television channel as weekly episodes
10) Participants should confirm their participation with proper information in the given format filled, signed and sealed from the school authority, it can be sent through E-mail or post before the last date
11) The letter should have the name of the participants, parents and teacher’s name, and mobile number. Further communication will be made through them
12) All the participants will be given participation certificates
13) Decision of the anchor is final
14) Organizers have the right to postpone the dates, make changes in show, time and stop the show
15) Information related to show will be given on time
16) Episode recording will be held at Daijiworld Udupi Studio, Kadiyali.

The winners will be awarded with exciting cash prizes, trophies and certificates. The first place winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 15,000. The second and third place winning teams will be awarded with cash prizes of Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. All the winners will be awarded with trophies, medals and certificates. The participants will be given certificate of appreciation.
