Kasargod: 11-yr-old girl killed as tree falls during heavy wind, rain

Kasargod, Jul 3: Tragedy struck a family on Monday, July 3 evening at Angadimogar near Puttige when a tree fell due to heavy wind and rain, resulting in the death of a girl student.

The deceased student has been identified as Aishat Min Ha (11), a sixth standard student of Angadi Moger Government Higher Secondary School.

The incident took place around 4 in the evening while Aishat was playing. Local residents immediately rushed to the scene and shifted her to a hospital in Kumble. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The young victim was the daughter of M Yousuf and Fatimmat Sainaba, who is a shopkeeper.
