Beltangady, Jul 4: Balakrishna Shenoy (56), a resident near school of Kalmanja village and owner of Sri Manjunatha motor driving school of Ujire, died of cardiac arrest on Monday July 3.
Balakrishna developed chest pain as he was sitting in his office after lunch.
He was given first aid at Ujire private hospital and then rushed to Mangaluru for higher treatment. However, he succumbed on the way.
Balakrishna was the first person to begin a driving school at Ujire 20 years ago. He was fondly called as Kittu. He had trained thousands of people on driving car. He is survived by wife and two sons.
