Lucknow, Jul 26 (IANS): The mutilated bodies of a couple and their two children were found lying on a railway track in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur district Tuesday.
The bodies were recovered from the track in Gorakhpur's Chatuatal area, about 300 km from here.
"We are yet to ascertain whether it's a case of murder, suicide or accidental death," police inspector R.R. Upadhyay told reporters in Gorakhpur.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the parents, Tulsiram (40) and Guddi (35), had late Monday left their home in nearby Jagatpur village with their two sons, Radhey (14) and Shyam (9), to attend a function, added Upadhyay.
