Udupi, Jul 8: The dream project of J J Builders & Developers, ‘Mandavi Casa Grande’ residential-cum-commercial building, was inaugurated on Saturday July 8 at Santhekatte.
Dr Jerry Vincent Dias, president CREDAI Udupi and managing director of Mandavi Real Estate Developers inaugurated the building, while Fr Roque Dsouza, parish priest, Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, Fr Valerian Mendonca, rector, Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur blessed the premises.
Udupi MLA Yashpal Survarna addressing the gathering said, “Jerry Dais has given free service for developing Udupi. The service offered by Mandavi has made Udupi to get recognition at national level. Udupi is one of the fastest growing districts and this is possible only by availability of necessary facilities and with the help of builders.”
Former MLA Raghupati Bhat said, “The construction of huge structures will help in the development of the district. Jerry Dias’ life is like a thesis topic for students, how he built name and fame in a small city like Udupi. All builders in Udupi have played a major role in developing Udupi. Robosoft, when they started their organization in Santhekatte, had named this place as New Udupi. Jerry Vincent Dias’ honesty and hard work has led him towards success. He has led his children in the same path.”
Ramesh Kanchan, president of Udupi Block Congress, congratulated Dr Jerry Dias for his 50th project and appreciated him for dedicating himself in social welfare activities. He stated that he will always be with him and will lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Promoters of J J Builders & Developers felicaited the land owners Ravi Pojary and Sharada Poojary, Valerian Pinto and Iren Pinto, Alphonse Fernandes, Rohan Fernandes and Roveena Fernandes and Richard Dias for the contribution of the land for development purpose.
Purushotham Shetty, Ujwal Developers, Manjula V Nayak, Jayakar Shetty Indralli, general manager, Badagabettu Credit Co-Operative Society, Udupi, Dr Lara Dias, Jason Dias, Manohar Shetty and others were present during the inauguration.
