Kasargod: Excise officials seize 2484 litres of liquor, arrest one

Kasargod, Jul 10: Excise officials confiscated liquor of high value that was being illegally transported in a tempo van and arrested one person in this connection.

Radhakrishna Kamath is the accused who is in excise custody now.

Around 2484 litres of liquor was confiscated from him.

Coconut shells were kept on the boxes of liquor in the vehicle. When the excise officials got suspicious, they removed the coconut shells and seized the liquor that was kept in boxes below the shells.
