Bantwal, Jul 12: A serious accident occurred near Kodangai Maitreyi Gurukula in Vittal involving an Alto car and a bike, resulting in critical injuries to the bike rider on Wednesday, July 12.
The bike riders were identified as Sinan and Faizal, residents of Kadambu. The collision was so intense that the biker's head struck the car window, shattering the glass and causing severe injuries.
The car driver, Gopalakrishna, a resident of Kanakamajalu near Sullia, was returning after enrolling his daughter at Mudipu Navodaya Residential School.
The Vittal and Highway Patrol police arrived at the scene.
