Mangalore, Jul 28:
In an amusing incident, Congress party workers shouted slogans in support of BJP as many as five times during the party's 'victory' celebration organised by the DK district Congress committee in front of the district Congress office in Hampanakatta here on Thursday July 28.

The district unit of Congress has been demanding Yeddyurappa's dismissal right from the day Lokayukta report first made headlines.

But when the day finally came and it was time to celebrate, the confused party workers shouted 'BJP ki Jai' whenever KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza demanded dissolution of the BJP government in the state.

Strangely, this aberration was not observed by the leaders. Later, the party workers corrected their mistake and shouted slogans against the BJP government.

Addressing the protestors, Ivan D'Souza said that the dismissal of Yeddyurappa by his own party high command has exposed the truth to the people of Karnataka. He also congratulated the leaders of national BJP for taking this drastic step. He also urged the governor to dissolve the state government as it is facing allegations of rampant corruption.

Congress workers burst crackers and distributed sweets to celebrate the sacking of Yeddyurappa. However, most of the Congress leaders and MLAs were not present on the occasion.

Now it is clear why the congress supporters! shouted "BJP Ki Jai"!

Because the Congress offered Rs.150.00 each along with food to gather supporters.

The news spread in the car street through mouth to mouth and few boys went in support of Congress!

Congress party was in deep slumber in the state all the time. When did they act like an effective and responsible opposition in the state? So many things happened and this party lost the golden opportunity to win over the people of Karnataka, by just being a mute spectator. And today they are simply sleepwalking.

Is this congress celebration or Ivans celebration? Only 25 people to celebrate? what celebration these people are doing......? where is congress District President Ramanath Rai, where is your congress MLA's, where is congress block presidents, corporators, taluke zilla panchayath members, with out them how few people can organise this district prog. Dear Ivan Dsouza there are lot of people waiting in the queue in front of DC office, The consumers were seen standing in a big queue and waiting to clarify about their gas connections instead of doing this drama from your congress party help them. You do some good work automatically you will get publicity. don't do for the sake of publicity. now the people are very smart, once you can fool some one but you can not fool always. there are lot of issues problems in the manglore city as a opposition party you can do lot....

Congress workers shouted "BJP Ki Jai".

See the pathetic position of the opposition party in the state.

This is the history of Congress. They hire the crowd for their national leaders like Sonia, Rajiv and Rahul Gandhis'meetings.

This shows that Congress is no less corrupt.

Actually, all the ills of the country like communalism, casteism Goondagiri and corruption were started by the Congress pudaris.
