Mangalore, Jul 28:
Three local fishermen who went missing five days ago have been located, rescued and brought to Pudiyapu Port in Calicut, 30 km off Kannur coast on Thursday July 28 at around 5 pm.

Bengre residents Francis Frank (23) and Manohar Puthran (41), and Deralakatte resident Vincy (40) went missing and a case was registered in Panambur police station on July 26.

The fishermen ventured into the sea by Jai Panduranga country boat belonging to Laxman of Bengre on July 23. They departed at 1 pm and sent an SMS at 6 pm that the engine of their boat had stopped working. Thereafter, there was no news of them and their mobile phones were also switched off.

Police had no information about them except that they were 13 nautical miles away from the coast. Francis Frank had also called his sister Lavina Frank and said that they were in difficulty.

On Thursday they were rescued by another fishing boat of Kerala. They will be brought to the city on Friday July 29 afternoon. They were in a battered physical and mental condition at the time of rescue, it is learnt.

It is important to constantly remember that god loves you, that if there is suffering then there
must be meaning in suffering, otherwise there would be no suffering. And there is meaning
in suffering. Suffering is a challenge. It is not a disease to be destroyed, it is a challenge to be
accepted, and it is an adventure.

Remind yourself that its god’s will, there must be something hidden behind it and it must be a blessing in disguise. Pain is not without purpose. It is very human to forget that god loves you. When you are in misery how can you remember it? But those are the moments to remember that god loves you. And if misery has come to you, then it is because he has sent it. It has to be accepted with gratitude.

So was the lord asleep when they went through the entire painful episode.. thank the person who saved them! and also don't say that they were being tested by the Lord or punished for something they did in the past etc. etc... that's called cruelty!

Incredible story! The fishing boat doesn`t appear to be all that in good condition and no wonder the engine stopped working. Needless to mention, it is very important that the machine always is in perfect conditon especially when venturing into the deep sea like the one in this case, a lesson others to follow.
