Udupi, Jul 17: A disturbing video showing a tipper dragging a Santro car for a kilometer has gone viral on social media.

The incident occurred as the Santro car was traveling from Sagar to Mangaluru, while the tipper was en route from Belman to Baikampady. Unaware that the Santro car was stuck beneath its dumper, the tipper driver accelerated the vehicle's speed after the accident, possibly fearing retaliation from onlookers.

However, local residents gave chase, berating the tipper driver and eventually forcing him to stop. The Padubidri police arrived at the scene and apprehended the tipper. The police promptly transferred a woman and two men who were injured in the Santro car to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The police officers plan to file a complaint after gathering further information from the injured individuals.

The best solution for long and heavy vehicles is fixing front and back cameras. Govt should make mandatory to fix the cameras, so the driver can watch backside of vehicle properly.

front and back camera ? Indian motor vehicle act has recommended all heavy commercial vehicles to install rear and side metallic bumpers with reflective stickers so that cars won't underpass them in event of emergency braking because the side ways metallic barrier is for fuel tank safety so that in event of impact tank won't engage in blast its an international rule all buses commercial vehicles are using air braking system that's lightning fast stops in a heart beat.
