Puttur, Jul 19: BJP state unit president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel stated that the Congress party has a history of expelling several Prime Ministers in the country after supporting them. He cited the example of former Prime Minister Devegowda, who lost his position because of Congress. Nalin Kumar made these remarks during a media interaction on Wednesday, July 19.
He further expressed his belief that Congress will never allow any other party to hold power, and at present, the country is experiencing a Congress-free environment. Nalin Kumar claimed that Congress is now attempting to form a third front by collaborating with different parties.
In his predictions for the next Lok Sabha elections, Nalin Kumar confidently asserted that Congress will be swept away in front of the wave of support for Narendra Modi. He noted that Congress is no longer able to contest elections independently and is devising various strategies to regain power in the country. However, he pointed out that previous attempts at forming alliances did not work and predicted the same outcome this time.
When questioned about the BJP-JD(S) coalition, Nalin Kumar chose not to comment.
