Bangalore, Jul 30: Finally, Karnataka chief minister released an official press note through the state cabinet minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday Jul 30 stating, "I will resign as promised on Thursday. There is no change in my decision, please do not spread rumours about me. In accordance with the decision of the BJP parliamentary committee, I have decided to step down from my post on July 31, 2011 by noon."

The press note was handwritten by Yeddyurappa and read out by Bommai.

The statement should put an end to all kinds of rumours created around his resignation drama.

Earlier, both factions among the BJP state legislators had claimed their strength in 'numbers'. Ministers Renukacharya and V Somanna had openly urged Yeddyurappa not to resign, and requested the high command to reconsider its orders and withdraw the demand for his resignation.

Meanwhile, the Eshwarappa-led faction has openly criticised Renukacharya and Somanna for misleading the media and reiterated that the CM will resign as planned on Sunday July 31.

    Yeddy, Gadkari and and top top BJP brains are laughing stock!! but for majority Karnataka and DK voters they are reps of the Hindu religion!! It would be wise if the reps of God follow 1% of Gods teaching!! It could be any God!! No God teaches wrong! Followers are greedy and twist the teaching!! Now our state elected leaders have taken voters and God for a big ride in the name of Religion!! Now who will save whom?

    Lawyer law makers should bring more twist to suit law less Karnataka....cheating is fine!! Most poweful voters cheat the govt by paying less tax though they pay a small savings to their CA (chartered accountant brain) Yeddy makes more ....his associates make even more...Acharya does not make money...he is satisfied with communal devide and gain of his belief of hindutwa myth!! Unfortunately he is only a MBBS(basic) doctor... Did not gain higher education in his chosen field... Thrishanku knowledge hence more problem for the state!!

    Eddy's promise and commitment subject to change as per his perspective and dictating terms.If he is committed to his promise, there would not chaos like this!He has been 40 yrs of political business and came Sanghparivar background.I guess,he has personality disorder syndrome!The way he demonstrated during the crisis period of BJP situation in Karnataka is below std.I don't think Eddy will bounce back under the present circumstances and what he gained in forty yrs were lost in last couple of days.Nepotism, Favoritism,and unprecedented corruptions lead to his downfall.Again it is proved beyond doubt that Congress Party only give good governance, stability and prosperity.OPERATION KAMALA in all means backfired.BJP has to learn in elementary level how to handle power politics.

    It’s not just the money transfer from one hand to another or not money made by corruption or robbed from bank locker, but the environmental damage and the damage to the Nature done by these guys to our beloved Earth in Karnataka within a short period of time is much above the limit. It will take years and years to repair... it’s just not repairable within a given period of time. These greedy fellows have cut the stomach of a Hen laying golden eggs. They have cut out the stomach of our Mother India removed out the intestine. Not even Britishers who have ruled India have not done such damage to Mother India during their period of rule. These types of Politicians if allowed to rule for another few years they will also remove Western Ghats from the face of the Earth.
    Most of the Iron Ore has gone to China for less price, the neighbour which India is worried all the time for their growth and military power.

    As per my speculations, If Yeddy resigns this time, the BJP will get majority in the coming elections again. If he does not resigns, this will be the BJPs first and last govt for next 10 years in Karnataka.

    Rather than resigning you know very well that if government falls you will be under CBI net and permanently you will be put behind the bar.Yeddy your era is over including all your four cabinet colleagues.Again I wish BJP all the best for another term,if it able to rule without sound under the leadership of Shettar or Suresh Kumar,no doubt.For all these nonsense one man has to be blamed.. i.e. Mr.Gadkari,useless,nonsense president of BJP,supported all Yeddy's misdeeds and given a statement like a ordinary man.

    Nitin Gadkari should dissolve the present BJP central excecutive committee and constitute a new one only after Yedyurappa resigns from CM's post.
    It has proved that he is strong only physically but not as a President of BJP.
