At Last, Yeddyurappa Faxes Resignation to Gadkari

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Jul 31: Finally, the curtains are down on the three-year rule of B S Yeddyurappa, who was elected the leader of Karnataka BJP legislature in May 2008 when BJP emerged as the single largest party in the state assembly elections.

After a great amount of resistance, fightback, defiance and rumours of rebellion, Yeddyurappa formally sent his resignation letter by fax to the BJP party president Nitin Gadkari in Delhi on Sunday July 31 morning.

Within moments of receipt of the letter, Gadkari accepted the resignation, sources said.

However, it is learnt that he has still not sent his resignation to Karnataka governor H R Bharadwaj. According to the Constitution, the formal resignation must be sent to the governor also. It is also learnt that Yeddyurappa has asked for an appointment with the governor at 2.30 pm to submit his resignation.

Yeddyurappa, who firmly believes in God, Vastu and astrology, reportedly sent his resignation at 7.42 am, Sunday, July 31, 2011.

Hectic political activities have begun once again in the state capital to elect the new legislature leader. Sadananda Gowda, Udupi-Chikmaglur MP, who is known to be within the close circle of Yeddyurappa, and candidate proposed by Yeddyurappa himself is said to be the frontrunner for the CM post.

Give us a break. Lets comment posiivly rather than supporting any party. Look at the state for the last few days. Ever since Lokayukta report emerged stating the ill deeds of CM and other ministers, everything was so mess. Forget about the party and just think liberal. Do we really need to support or oppose these ministers? I don’t know if the lokayukta is biased or not. But matter of the fact is that CM should have accepted the resignation, the moment high command had asked him to. But, he thought of himself. Thought of his belief, and the number game etc etc.

I have a question to CM here, if he is not committed in any misdeeds, why he has to get scared??? If he is clean, he can come back proving his innocence and he will powerful than ever. These chaos suggest that there is something for which these ministers get scared and reluctant to leave the seat. It happened to watch one of kannada news channel and Reddy brothers are calling BSY as “appa” ( father, perhaps)? Let’s recollect, same reddy brothers were went against their “father” and same people are supporting now. Why? I have an answer. Reddy’s know very well that the moment even they lose their ministerial birth, they will be crucified for their crime for killing the nature and for pocking crores of rupees.

Lets hope we have new CM. However, its apparent that this government will see many more debacle in near future. Lets hope things goes well for Karnataka.

suma, Blore, I saw ur comments on TOI, if S.M. Krishma, Dharam Singh & HDK where equally corrupt why did Yeddy did not act at that time? Hegde has prepared a latest report for last 5 yrs I believe. Yeddy wanted to be C.> for another 30yrs but ended his term in 3yrs. That too he was sacked by his own party, not by Governer. If he had resigned himself he would have had another chance. He will never come back in power. Hope all my past predictions will come true.

"Maadidunno maharaya" It is very true in case of Yeddy. Karnataka state in general and Mangalore and Bangalore in particular were peaceful places for all the religions since time immemorial. The moment BJP govt came to power all the peace and tranquility of the state was shattered. The state has been plagued by Church attacks, pub attacks, valentine day attacks, false conversion propaganda, attack on christian educational institutions, orphanages, anti cow slaughter proposal, compulsory teaching of Bhagvad Gita and so on.

The list is endless. BJP thought that they own India and they treated minorities as foreigners. It is a national shame that Dhananjaya Kumar openly d the same in one interview on NDTV with Barkha Dutt. Radical and anti social elements like Bajrang Dal and Rama Sene became very active and started their so called moral policing. Everything happened with the full knowledge and complete support of the BJP govt. Yeddy and Acharya showed total inaction during all these incidents. After all everybody has an end and everything has to come to an end. It is a great relied that Yeddy is out of power. It is only a matter of time that BJP will be out of power in Karnataka.

SM krishna daramsingh devegowda HDK are more corrupt than BSY

land grabing illegal mine started during regime of SM krishna and and congress JDS are most corrupt and criminals.

So the whole states future and its progress was dependent on some non sense astrologer telling BSY to do things at a certain time. Do we still need politicians like these blind superstitious fools. I dont believe it.
