Bangalore: Agitated Yeddyurappa Hits Minister, Hurls Laptop

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Aug 2: If reports are to be believed, caretaker Chief Minister (CM), B S Yeddyurappa, could not control his bad temper for which he is known for, and slapped a minister close to him on Sunday.

A defiant Yeddyurappa, who was unable to bear the humiliation of having to yield to pressure brought on him by the central leadership as well as people on whom he reposed his faith to resign, is said to have given vent to his frustration by slapping a minister who had woken him up from his sleep, as the time set for his resignation approached. Yeddyurappa also accused the minister concerned of creating problems for him, by working in tandem with some of the ministers. He also abused another minister, who was present at the time at his home, reports said, which declined to identify the ministers concerned.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening. On the same day, during the course of his meeting with the central observers of the BJP in a hotel here, he reportedly banged a laptop belonging to senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member, Venkaiah Naidu, to the floor. At the time, Naidu was trying to coax the CM to fall in line with the instructions conveyed by the central leadership of the party. It is understood that the CM could not handle the fact that Naidu, who always stood by him, betrayed the trust and sided with the central leadership and the local leaders, who were trying to unseat him.  Apart from expressing his reluctance to back Yeddyurappa, Naidu is said to have advised some important ministerial colleagues of the CM to press for his removal.

Yeddyurappa, who was forced to climb down from his defiant stand because of BJP national leader L K Advani’s insistence on remaining absent from Lok Sabha session that began on Monday unless the CM resigned, has been seething with anger since then. The BJP high command’s stubborn stand against accepting his nominee as the next CM has added fuel to his fury.

Both the incidents happened in the presence of a number of BJP party men. The CM, who had in the past too, behaved errantly on several occasions, had been advised by the high command to control his temper. The above incidents clearly indicate that he has been unable to do this. At the end, these incidents may do further harm to his future political ambitions, analysts opine.

May be Poor Yeddi is suffering from High BP. On the other hand he says, he is free from all the commitments. A tremondous actor, even the super-star Amitabh Bacchan should also be ashamed of Yeddi's superb acting, like sometime artificial smile, anger, cunning eyes and face expression - great actor! Still ambitious of the chair and is very sure to get it in 6 months time! Dont worry, ups and downs are there in life. Wa Wa..... All the best Yeddi, we are with you!

Many of the things MR. YEDDYURAPPA
has done for the last few months
was not in the proper mindset. When compared with a lot of people,
he had more mental strength, but
for his age, he was carrying a
triple load of mental pain. He
may not accept the fact that he
needs to get some medical help to
    normalize his brain functions.
It is very sad that now he is
faced with the harvest time of the
past sowing, but I empathize with
    his highly painful mental torture
now. For his peace, he must quit
politics and try to lead a non-
political lifestyle, also must distribute his ill-gotten wealth
to the poor and needy people of
    his state.

This report is not true. There is already a denial from Venkaiah Naidu the he does not carry a Laptop.
It is other naidu (cyber savy Chandrababu)who carried laptop.
Intelligent leaders (across all parties) never carry laptops so that they can handle suitcases filled with scam money with ease.

Meanwhile, reacting to reports that Yeddyurappa smashed Venkaiah Naidu's laptop and slapped a minister, Naidu said that no such incident took place.

"I am surprised to see the story carried by an English daily that Yeddyurappa has broken my laptop. This is totally baseless and false. No such incident took place as I never even carry a laptop," Naidu said.

Yeddy always managed and ruled the state as if it was his inherited family business. Also he thought and acted as if all the assets and income of the state are his own. He ruled the state with an iron fist just like Saddam and Gaddafi. He survived major scandals and contraversies and never dreamt that he would be indicted in the present case. Sudden loss of power has driven him crazy. Power and money had gone to his head in the real sense of the word. Even now he is trying hard to dictate terms to the party high command. After all he is more wealthy, more mighty and much more powerful than all of them.

The worst-tempered leader I've ever seen is Yeddi, we know that he is wrong.
