BJP will Suffer if Yeddyurappa's Nominee Occupies CM's Office: Advani

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Aug 3: The chances of minister for rural development, Jagadish Shettar, taking over the mantle of the state from outgoing Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, seem to have brightened with the stern stance taken by Advani against Yeddyurappa and his nominees.

Advani has reportedly commented that some of the politicians in Karnataka are worse than robbers, and lamented the party high command’s action in allowing Yeddyurappa to continue in office, in spite of his past recommendations for his ouster. “If Yeddyurappa or his nominee occupies the CM’s office in Karnataka, the party will suffer further harm. The party should never compromise on values and ethics, even if that means losing power in Karnataka. Never buckle under pressure being mounted by Yeddyurappa. The party has suffered a lot because of him,” he is said to have told the high command of BJP. He also insisted that the BJP government’s only aim for the next two years should be on good governance in the state. Advani feels that Yeddyurappa, who had challenged the party top brass through his defiance to the instructions to step down, should not be allowed to dictate terms.

This does not augur well for MP, D V Sadanand Gowda, nominated by Yeddyurappa to succeed him.  Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitely have been meeting every minister and party legislator from different factions in Bangalore and holding talks with them.

Shettar, who enjoys support from Ananth Kumar and Eshwarappa factions, has expressed confidence that he will get chosen as the next CM of Karnataka. He also is said to have the backing of the Lingayat Swamijis. In all likelihood, the choice of the next CM will by way of ballets, as BJP legislators are set to meet later in the day to choose their new leader, and even Shettar and home minister, Ashok, said the choice will be through secret polling.

In the meanwhile, Yeddyurappa insisted that he will concentrate on undertaking tour of the state and building the party in the coming years. He also expressed confidence of coming clean of the charges levelled by opposition parties, claiming that he has done nothing wrong, and that it was the conspiracy of the opposition that he is being projected as a wrongdoer.

Oh.. come on baby.. Mr. nayak.. cool down. don't drive the attention to some other topic which are under investigation and most of the culprits are behind bar. Talk about the subject which I mentioned. Your great leader himself certified that current Karnataka Ministers are worse than robbers and BJP will lose it's credibility if they propose any candidate for the CM's post recommended by Mr. Yediyoorappa. He also admitted that the BJP suffered humility under the leadership of Yediyoorappa and his continuation will further harm the charm of BJP. Can you please comment on this??

Do you think that Mr. Advani is siding with UPA or he is an agent of Italian led UPA?? Most of the scam you mentioned are under investigation and most of them involved in that are in Thihar Jail. Come on Mr. Nayak wake up and comment on what highlighted. Don't rush to douse the fire of other's house while your own house is in fire.

    With respect to:

Jason Ferns of Udupi and Canada, I suppose it is tempting to laugh (HoHoHo) at the BJP's problems but Karnataka cries at their handiwork.

Eric of Mangalore - Corruption is not a capital crime.

The Guru & Ashok - divisions do not lead to unity. All of us, minorities and Hindus, are the worse off when our elected representatives look out for their welfare at our expense.

Thomas of Mangalore & Saudi Arabia - double zero is still zero.

Ruchi of Udupi and Dubai: what would it sound like if Advani did speak?

There has to be a change in the mindset of the electorate. MPs/MLAs/MLCs are the employees of the electorate, not their overlords.

The govt isn't meant to rule people - this isn't a monarchy it is there to serve the interests of the public. And if your employee
doesn't do the work to your satisfaction, you give the job to someone else. Unfortunately, the people have yet to come to the realisation that they are employers rather than the recipients of the generosity of political "leaders". The great skill of the political class is in
making promises. But those promises and Rs. 5 are still inadequate if you want a litre of milk, which you might not want if it is Nandini and has an insect in it. See http://www.daijiworld.com/news/news_disp.asp?n_id=109914

    Dear Nagesh
I could not understand in your statement " Italian and half Indian'.
    Can u please clarify this.

As far as my History subject taught me, we all are 100% Indians and every Indian should salutes the National flag, sing National Anthem and prepare to sacrifice for our motherland. This is the true quality of an Indian.

What about Indian/ Indian students who study by paying absolutely nothing, might be some are getting seat on merit in great Institutions like AIIMS, IIM, IIT etc and after completion of their studies migrate to Western Countries, become citizen of that Country and take that Countries passport by cancelling Indian Passport , what one has to call them. Can u pls. comment on this.

Where was Advani when the Bellary cartels belonging to BJP were looting our national mineral wealth? Why Advani did not stop Sushma Swaraj while she was openly supporting the Bellary dacoits? Why Advani did not question the national BJP president Nitin Gadkari when he used Bellary looters money for his son's lavish wedding? Suddenly Advani woke up when his political-chela Ananth Kumar’s candidate was challenged. Is Advani not a double faced politician who divided the Hindus and Muslims of India by misusing Lord Ram as emotional tool for his political aspiration?

What is the difference of past 1947 and now?
Before 1947 You are ruled out of foreign robbers
After 1947 you are ruled-out of National robbers

    :)))

    Difference:
Before 1947 you lost something but you gain a lesson
After 1947 You gain a lesson and now you are losing that

    Result:
    Before 1947 - zero
    After 1947 - double zero

We are only looking out for some one who can can rule the state righteously, impartially and with selfless motive. If this means it will be the BJP who will rule us, so be it. I hope people listen to veterans like Advani and Vajpayee and not to criminal firebrands who are ready to sacrifice the state for a chair.
